About ME!
Whats up guys, I’m Sennari
I’m an charcoal artist originally from Detroit, Michigan, and I’ve been creating for nearly a decade.
My journey started with a simple school project where I discovered, almost by accident, a talent I never knew I had. That first drawing changed everything—it awakened something deep inside me. From there, I moved from pencil to charcoal, falling in love with realism and eventually creating my own style, which I call profound realism.
I created theartistjournal because I came to realize that each piece I make is more than just art—it’s a timestamp, a capsule holding a part of my life. Every artwork carries a bit of my emotional state, the year it was made, and the unique circumstances surrounding it. Art became a way of marking time, a means to preserve moments that I can look back on and feel again. This journal isn’t just about showcasing my work; it’s a chronicle of my journey, with each piece echoing its own story, a story that means a great deal to me.
My work often carries hidden meanings, drawing from the beauty of animals, nature, and people. I choose black and white because I believe there’s something timeless and pure in simplicity. Through my art, I want to remind people of the raw, overlooked beauty in life’s quiet moments.
Every piece I create is deeply personal, crafted with focus, emotion, and love. It’s my way of connecting with the world, and with you.
Thank you for spending a moment here. It truly means the world to me.! If something resonates with you or you’d like to collaborate on a custom piece, let’s connect.
I’d be honored to create something meaningful together.
